We were really looking forward to travelling to Wales to photograph the wedding of Sophie & Leigh. We went over the day before the wedding, having booked into the absolutely beautiful Dderi Farm situated amongst the Welsh hills, a big thank you to Jen & Aeron for their superb hospitality. The B&B was right opposite the Church … Bonus! After going to the pub for an evening meal, we ended up giving one of the locals a lift home who on the way gave us his life’s history … LOL What a great guy. All the Welsh people we met were so friendly
Onto the wedding – After visiting Sophie at her parents house for Bridal prep photos, we were off to St John’s Church for the wedding ceremony, set all on it’s own with the Welsh hills as a backdrop, gorgeous. After Sophie and Dad arrived by horse and carriage it was time for the wedding ceremony. Now one of the highlights of the day for myself and Emma was the choir …. Wow! You guys were unbelievable, what a gorgeous sound, which brought a lump to my throat – seriously!
Sophie & Leigh, now married, made the short journey to their wedding reception at the lovely Craig-Y-Nos Castle in the horse and carriage. I must say Leigh was worried about the weather, but I facebooked before we left that I would bring it with me …. Yep, blue skies, warm, we did it again A drinks reception was followed by us taking Sophie & Leigh down into the Castle gardens for some stunning wedding photographs! guys, you were brilliant. The gardens of Craig-Y-Nos Castle are stunning. After some wedding photos of the guys looking cool, and the Girls looking gorgeous, onto the wedding breakfast, speeches and toasts.
Sophie & Leigh, we thoroughly enjoyed photographing your wedding and were sad to leave such a gorgeous location and such friendly people. A few early images from your wedding below, have a fantastic 2 weeks on your honeymoon and we’ll speak to you soon ……
