Mel and Phil were married Friday at Holme Pierrepont Hall, Nottingham and we were there to photograph their day for them. After visiting Mel at home getting ready with her three Bridesmaids Amber, Elizabeth and Isabelle, it was off to the Hall. We arrived to Blue skies but very cold … ! Phil was greeting guests along with his two best men George and Henry. After a lovely ceremony we managed to grab some time outside to get the group shot and a number of formals. Timing was fantastic, just when we started a session with Mel and Phil we got that magic 20 mins again .. ! Just as the low winter sun starts to hit the horizon, gorgeous light. I know we worked you fairly hard guys, but when you see your photos bet you think it was worth it .. ! Enjoy your honeymoon ..
For the photographers who follow our blog, all images were shot with the Canon 5DmkII, and either a 70 – 200 F2.8 or 17 – 40 F4 lens. All shot using available light, some with video light for fill. ISO was hardly dropped below 1600 for the entire wedding, no flash.
