Ok, here we go with some more images from Sev & Turgut’s amazing 2 day wedding.  After the Saturday wedding Ceremony we were eager to go again on the Sunday  After covering both Sev’s Bridal prep and Turgut getting ready with the lads it was time for Turgut to pick Sev up from the home.  Rather than going straight to the Tower Ballroom, Birmingham, together with the Bridal party we stopped off at the Botanical Gardens for some cool photos of Sev & Turgut then on to some fun stuff with the Bridesmaids and the lads.  Off to the wedding reception next, Wow, how many guests?  The venue was packed !!  Must admit it was a great experience to photograph all the various celebrations  Hope you Guys are having a great time away, catch up soon …..

Here’s a few very early photos from Sev & Turgut’s recent Cypriot wedding.  A two day affair, with the wedding ceremony being held on the Saturday then the massive celebrations on the Sunday at Birmingham’s The Tower Ballroom …. Oh boy, did we have a great time with you Guys  As a wedding photographer photographing all the various events during the two days was pretty cool ….  Full blog post coming soon once I have all the processing completed ……

Next up, our most recent wedding – Laura & James.  After a home visit for Laura’s Bridal prep it was off to St George & St Mary’s Church for the wedding ceremony.  Wow, what an arrival – with two Limo’s for the lads and Bridal party, a double decker red bus for guests and a Rolls Royce for Laura ….  A lovely ceremony (with photos allowed ), was followed by confetti and a quick getaway seeing us arrive at the wedding venue, The Waterfront at Barton Marina with plenty of time for some cool shots of Laura & James with the car, the lads and girls with the stunning blue sky reflecting off the water, a few formals and the hog roast being prepared, the smell of the hog roast was mouth watering  Early evening saw us taking some stunning contemporary photographs with off camera flash with Laura & James, leading us nicely into first dance ….. Next up for a Sandon Hall wedding, Jennifer & Greg ….. Bridal prep at The Moat House for Jennifer, check out yet another gorgeous dress was followed by some photos of Greg and the lads at Sandon Hall.  This time after Jennifer’s arrival we were having a Civil wedding ceremony in the Library, with the registrars allowing a number of photographs  A showery day for this wedding, so a lot of the afternoon was spent photographing guests and Bride & Groom documentary style.  Then, a break in the weather … woohoo, outside  Family photos, then a walk round Sandon Hall gardens with Jennifer and Greg for some fun, relaxed photos.  Once again some great speeches, and a very emotional one from Jennifer were followed by another video light evening session, once again using the Sandon Hall stunning pillars …. Wow, could Jennifer pull a pose Ok, Greg you were Mr cool as well !!  Some early images below for you Guys ….

Our next Easter weddings were back to back at the gorgeous Sandon Hall, Staffordshire.  First up Jennifer and Oliver ….. First surprise of the day was Jennifer’s gorgeous dress, and then OMG the shoes After Bridal prep we were off to St Nicholas Church, Fulford ….. On arriving it was yet another Wow !!  Oliver and his buddies in Army Uniform Controlling emma here was a problem … LOL. A cracking wedding ceremony was followed by a guard of honour, swords n all !!  After a couple of Bride & Groom photos and confetti it was off to Sandon Hall for the wedding reception, no rain  Another relaxed afternoon, some really funny speeches, then on to the evening video light session with Jennifer & Oliver and man – were these pair super cool !!  I love the pillars at the front of Sandon Hall for these photographs.  First dance finished what had been a fantastic day for us …. Favourites below, and check out those shoes …. !!

Next up for our Easter weddings, Carla & Jeremy who chose St Marys Church, Weeford for their wedding ceremony.  After a home visit for Carla’s bridal prep photos, it was off to the church to catch her arriving in an amazing horse drawn carriage.  Thankfully the weather was behaving  The wedding ceremony was followed by a short walk over the road for the first half of their wedding reception held at The Old School House, Weeford.  After about an hour it was time to wave Carla & Jeremy off in the horse drawn carriage for their journey to Chandlers Restaurant, Lichfield, ready for the second half of their reception.  A nice relaxed final part of the afternoon led into the wedding breakfast and some cool speeches …. Our first Easter wedding was Poppy & Ben, their Church Ceremony was held at All Saints Church, Four Oaks and oh man were we battling the weather …. Horizontal sleet and snow !!  But guess what? these guys were still smiling and not letting it spoil their wedding day  A lovely ceremony was followed by a couple of photos with a chimney sweep during which Poppy’s veil took off … Landing in a tree !!  With it being so cold it was straight off to the wedding reception held at Moxhull Hall.  Luckily we managed to get outside with the lads for some photos and a quick session with Poppy & Ben before diving back in to thaw out !!  The wedding breakfast was followed by some entertaining speeches leading us nicely into first dance …. Phew …. Busy Easter  Processing is well underway now for our 4 Easter Weddings and wow, each one of them so much fun to photograph, even though we were battling blizzards with Wednesday’s … !!  Anyway, just a quick post with an early photo from each wedding.  Full blog posts for all 4 weddings coming up as soon as the processing is done ….

Fantastic News!  One of our weddings has been featured in the latest edition of Staffordshire Bride Magazine.

It’s always great for a wedding photographer to have their images published in magazines in either advertising or simply being asked for a photo by the magazine for their use, but this means so much more to us.  Caroline and Edward had such a great day and loved their photos that much that they wanted everybody to see them and to know their story and for that we feel honoured.

Caroline and Edward’s wedding day was beautifully chic and  perfectly detailed in every way to compliment their own personalities with the wedding ceremony at All Saints Church in Sandon then on to Oakley Hall in Staffordshire for their wedding reception.

We’ve had a lovely response to the photographs in the article from both the magazine and quite a few of their readers so we’ve popped a little ‘snippet’ of the article below, along with a few of our favourite photos from the wedding day but if you want to read the rest, the magazine is out now ….
