Wow, one of the busiest wedding fayres we have displayed at for long time

Superbly ran and presented by Katie and the Breadsall Priory team. It was excellent to meet so many couples getting married, and apologies if we were struggling to have a proper chat with you due to the number of people visiting our stand ! A massive thank you to Louise & John, Kayleigh & Luke, Kerry & Alex and Caroline & Paul for booking us to photograph your upcoming weddings ……

And for those making appointments to visit us at home, we look forward to seeing you again.

Next up for us is this weekends (Sunday 5th) Wedding Fayre being held at Alfreton Leisure Centre 11.00am – 4.00pm …. This Sunday 21st, we will be attending the Nottingham Wedding Show at the Albert Hall. Now granted a licence for weddings, the Albert Hall is a brand new wedding venue. We will be displaying our portfolio and wedding albums from GraphiStudio (Storybook), Jorgensen and Queensberry. This is going to be one gorgeous wedding venue for our style of wedding photography, so if you are planning on going and especially if you are looking for a wedding photographer, please feel free to drop by our stand for a chat, it would be great to meet you. A big thank you to all the couples that came over for a chat and to view the GraphiStudio and Jorgensen wedding albums at yesterdays wedding fayre. A lot busier than we thought it was going to be, so if we didn’t get chance to talk to you personally and you would like more information please feel free to contact us either by phone or Email. Normally I am suited and booted for these occasions, but yesterday I thought ‘let’s go and have some fun’ .. ! So casual jacket, jeans and a cowboy hat off I went (no I don’t wear it when working on a wedding) .. ! I hope it showed potential clients what we are really like, fun, easy going and love to have a laugh with people, think it went down quite well actually .. ! Not sure what the other photographers there thought? Probably ‘that Dave guy is nuts’, but then our display was packed all day … Hmmmmmm

Now, one of the exhibitors yesterday that I loved, and must admit the first time I have ever seen something so different was a young Lady called Alexandra. Playing absolutely gorgeous, haunting, romantic music on an Electric violin. I just had to buy her CD .. ! Now I can thoroughly recommend Alexandra for your wedding if you are looking for that something a little different. At the moment Alexandra is in the process of developing her website (She still has a landing page with details), once her site is sorted I hope she is going to be ready for the amount of enquiries she is going to get … ! Wow, todays wedding Fayre at Breadsall Priory (one of our favourite venues) was so busy, with over 300 Brides signed in. Many thanks to all the couples who came over to look at our GraphiStudio and Jorgensen demo albums, and to chat about your wedding plans.

A lot still haven’t booked their photographer yet for this year, we had loads of people asking for dates this year but unfortunately we were booked for 90% of them. Once you have found a photographer who produces work that you fall in love with, our advice would be to book early …. !

Last Sunday at the wedding fayre was so busy. One of the reasons was, we had a slideshow running of Sally & Russells wedding at Belvoir Castle on a glossy 24″ imac. The slideshow was displaying about 30% of our coverage and gave clients an idea of how we covered this wedding, we have removed the formals, duplicates etc. Just takes a couple of seconds to load, have a look, see what you think ….
