Hi, I'm Dave and along with my wife Emma we are both full time professional Wedding photographers, and yes our passion is weddings. Running Dave Nunn Studios takes up most of our time as our relaxed, photojournalistic, documentary coverage, blended with Editorial fashion has made us one of the UK's most sought after wedding photography couples. We use albums from the two best album manufacturers in the world, a choice of either GraphiStudio's storybook album, or Jorgensen albums of Australia.
Our photography takes us all over the UK and abroad, so whenever we get chance we like to spend time with our two Collies, Bear and Merlin, they drive us mad but are so lovable! My main hobby is Koi keeping and in 08 managed to get the new pond built and have stocked it with some amazing Koi. Answers to frequently asked questions.
How will you photograph our wedding?
Our aim is to let your day flow without being intrusive and dominating. Photographing at times from a distance, unseen. We guide certain parts and enjoy having fun with Bride and Groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen. We always recommend a home visit for the brides preparation or two room visits if the Bride is getting ready at the venue. We work with a Bride and Groom in intervals at different locations at your venue and in between encourage the Bride and Groom to spend time with their guests, at which time we photograph everyone enjoying the day, documenting all those special moments, unobtrusive and unnoticed.
Have you ever photographed our venue before?
We have photographed many venues throughout the country. Our creative approach to wedding photography gives us the ability to stop time and capture moments through the lens of our cameras wherever the venue. When we book a venue we have not photographed previously, if possible we will arrange to visit the venue prior to the wedding.
Do you photograph more than one wedding a day?
No, we only ever photograph one wedding a day.
How many photos will we see and how do we see them?
We do not set any limits to the number of photos we take on a wedding day, we take as many images as required to document the story of your day, all of which you get to see via our passworded on-line proofing system. Your photos are available for viewing approximately two weeks after your wedding.
Do you release the full resolution images?
Absolutely! in todays modern digital era, we realise that clients would like to own these for a number of reasons.
How many photos will there be in our album?
You can have as many photos in your album as required. With our album PDF proofing the final design of the album is left for our clients to decide on how they would like their album presented.
Do we have any input into the design of our album?
Yes, we will first design a proof album for you, send you the PDF you can then let us know if you would like to make any changes. We want you to be happy with every page design before the album goes to print.
Formal, family photos?
We will photograph as many formal photos as you require, but do advise keeping these to a minimum to give us more time to document your day and spend time with the bride and groom.
Do you provide Parents albums?
Yes, we have a range of parents albums from both GraphiStudio and Jorgensen.
How do we book you?
We normally encourage a no obligation consultation, so you can browse our album collections. We also book many of our weddings via phone or Email as many of our clients live some distance away or abroad. Due to our range of albums your album choice can be made nearer the date of your wedding when we get together again to finalise details of the day.
What equipment do you use?
We are hundred percent digital using top end cameras and lenses from Canon. 2 x 5D's and 2 x 5DMKII's our lenses are L series, fast aperture. All our processing is done on Apple Mac pro's and imacs.
